Water Management
Water allocations, determinations and other orders
Allocations specify the amount of water that can be extracted by licence holders during the year. Under the Water Management Act 2000, water allocations are called available water determinations (AWDs).
Current allocations for the 2009-10 water year are shown in the table below. Allocations may increase during the year. A running update on AWDs can also be viewed on the Available Water Determinations Register.
Other orders that restrict the extraction and/or use of water may be made from time to time and are also included in the table below.
